Why Instructional Design?

I became most interested in instructional design when I started the Coordinator of Training position. It sparked my interest because I started working more with the instructional design team developing training’s and working more closely with them on course development. One of the segments of instructional design field that most interest me is the project management aspect. This closely aligns with my business degree but its something i just enjoy because I am good at project management. I am very good about timing out projects and setting up the next step in the process. In addition, I am very good at organization and keeping my tasks aligned to accomplish the end goal.

Also, instructional design runs in my blood as my mother is an instructional designer at Santa Fe College in Gainesville. Her and I share ideas, trainings, and new findings that expand our knowledge at what other college/ university are doing and initiatives they are putting in place.
